Cecil River Ranch holds a special place among our recent projects. It was the final development completed by our good friend and colleague, Laddy Diebold, before his untimely passing in the spring of 2024.

Laddy worked alongside his son, Jackson, spending countless hours shaping the property into a more complete wildlife haven. Together, they created food plots, expanded infrastructure, improved access, and enhanced the habitat for the deer, turkey, and other wildlife that call the ranch home.

Every improvement reflected Laddy’s experience, work ethic, and genuine passion for the land. More importantly, this project gave him the opportunity to share that work with his son. Laddy was incredibly proud of what they accomplished together and was able to see the project across the finish line just days before his passing.

Cecil River Ranch stands as more than a completed development. It is a lasting reflection of Laddy’s commitment to wildlife, land stewardship, and the relationships that made his work so meaningful. We are proud to have known him, worked beside him, and seen the impact he made on this property and so many others.
