Miller Woods is a historic recreational and timber property situated between the L’Anguille River and the St. Francis River Floodway in Lee County, Arkansas. The property’s name traces back to the Miller Lumber Company, which was founded across the river in Marianna in 1902.

When we began work, much of the property had become overgrown and difficult to access. We brought in a full fleet of equipment to reclaim key areas, restore infrastructure, and improve the overall function of the land.

Our work included opening and improving access throughout the property, creating new wildlife openings, and developing large waterfowl rest areas. These improvements gave the landowner greater ability to manage habitat, move throughout the property, and make better use of its natural setting between two important river systems.

By reclaiming overgrown areas and improving the property’s infrastructure, we were able to restore both recreational value and long term land management potential. The result is a more functional and diverse property with improved habitat for waterfowl, whitetail deer, wild turkey, and other wildlife.

Miller Woods reflects the value of combining heavy equipment, thoughtful planning, and habitat focused development to bring a historic property back into productive use.
